Cricket Highlight : First time opening the batting for A Grade as a 15 year old and making 88, in my opinion the competition was at its strongest in that era. Being part of the team that beat St Andrews with a last wicket partnership by Bugsy and Dyson of 101. My first 100 at Brearley Reserve in front of my teamates and ex teamates from East Coburg. Beating East Coburg the first year under Howey when we had our best players defect.
Cricket Lowlight : Losing Grand Final a few years ago, not being part of last years First XI Grand Final win, being bowled for a duck in my first ever A Grade after being at the crease for 45 minutes.
Biggest Influence : David Boon for his fighting nature and for performing so well when he was obviously not built like an athlete. Hutch in the early days for actually playing me in a strong A grade side at such a young age. Matt Hayden for keeping at it after making millions of runs at a state level and still couldn't get a game for Australia until recently.
